The Feminist Leaders of Women RISE are the heart of our campaign. These ten inspiring women, with lived experience navigating the challenges faced by racialized newcomer and immigrant women, are stepping up to create real change. Their stories of resilience, empowerment, and leadership will inspire you.
Through this campaign, these leaders will:
- Guide over 200 women in the community to overcome barriers to employment
- Share their personal stories of perseverance and triumph in the face of adversity
- Lead workshops and discussions on advancing economic security for immigrant women
- Advocate for systemic changes that benefit all women, particularly those from racialized communities
